The steppes and the oaks,
The rivers and cliffs
The holts and fields
And mighty ground
Which are sprinkled with the ancestors’ blood
And sanctified with breath of wild winds
Motherland,
Give me the force
To conquer all
That is destroying our hearts
Spring thunderstorm will ruin the conscience
We ought to love the nature
And to bow to it.
She’s not like an enemy,
She’s like a sister or brother for us
Like father or mother
Who creates a miracle.
Motherland,
Give me the force
To conquer all
That is destroying our hearts
From the depth of ages You’re carrying the knowledge
The knowledge of creation,
The knowledge about life science
And You’re talking to us by runes
And You’re giving us the strength of the Sun!

The sad moon is rising in the sky
He’s hiding it’s shape between clouds
His red and sad beam
Is lighting beyond the clouds
Like a fire in the sky it’s burning,
And the earth is covered with the dark shadow
As soon as the beam will break through it,
The clouds spread again like a smoke.
Through the lonely darkness the star is shining,
It’s all alone and bright
It’s beam lights so proudly,
She isn’t afraid of any darkness of night
The beam of the star is proud,
But the sadness is burning in it,
That’s why the star is shining
Like a tender large tear
Is this sad star crying because of the people
Throwing it’s starlight beams?
Or it is sad because of the space
Where it is wandering alone?
Through the lonely darkness the star is shining,
It’s all alone and bright
It’s beam lights so proudly,
She isn’t afraid of any darkness of night

Wondering Winter
05:30
|
|

The winter was wondering:
Why the snow is melting away?
Why the ice is going down
The wide river?
The winter was wondering:
Why does it become so weak?
Where is that soft wind
That gives the warmth?
The winter was wondering:
Why the snow is melting away?
The winter was wondering:
How the Earth could breeze up?
The winter was wondering:
How the Earth could breeze up?
It’s filling with warmth,
And becomes alive day after day.
The winter was wondering:
How dare the flowers
Pushing through the snow,
So little and sweet?
The winter was wondering:
Why does it become so weak?
How dare the flowers
Pushing through the snow
And she blew on them hard
From her frozen thin lips
And began to throw snow
With all force right on them
And the flowers have bent over,
Became sad and crestfallen
But when the tempest has gone
They have risen again

Becalmed Woods
07:43

The Woods became calm, and trees fell asleep
Into winter delirium, into lethargy
The branches froze, the grass is dead
The angry and savage frost
Has tied the nature
The song of winter is flowing
In creaking of trees, in wolf howling
Funeral song is running,
Everything’s covered with snow
The Woods became calm, and trees fell asleep
Into winter delirium, into lethargy
The branches froze, the grass is dead
The angry and savage frost
Has tied the nature
It’s snowing, extinguished stars are falling,
They are running between trees into white haze.
And the trees are tired and sear
And swallow eternal cold darkness
The Woods became calm, and trees fell asleep
Into winter delirium, into lethargy
The branches froze, the grass is dead
The angry and savage frost
Has tied the nature
The rivers have died away in frosty embrace.
In the dense forests silence reigns
Only black ravens could be heard.
Only death is lying in wolf’s steps.

The tender warm that was gathered in summer
The earth gives to the sky…
To the sky…
The ash and smoke of fired grasses
The wind blows away…. Around the world
Around the world….
The sky is cloudy… the horizon darkens…
The clamor takes leaden haze…
The rains are watering the earth,
Their thirsty native mother….
Over the summer….
The round solar disk is shining for the last time
The glow is firing, sparkling and blazing,
The black clouds and white fogs
Are eating warm shine
The silence in woods, the silent echo
The shadows are falling, wet
And dense
The shadows are falling on wrinkled leaves
That is beautiful and clean during the moment
Of its death
The time stops The space gets thicker
The fingers of Mother Earth
become dumb
The sun is falling into autumn hugs
Into the tomb of leaves
The round solar disk is shining for the last time
The glow is firing, sparkling and blazing,
The woods become quiet and saturated with haze
And for the last time the silence is broken
By the farewell cry of
Faraway birds…
