"The themes on the record revolve around Irish history, conflicting political ideologies between the North and South of Ireland, and my at the time degrading mental state. Unmarked Graves in particular relates to the genocide committed against the Irish by the English during the Irish Famine."

Through the ether, a black metal boy showed me “Swordsman”. I was astonished at the mix of shoe-gaze and black metal. The album’s atmosphere is heavy, dark like night. Words cannot describe. Sultry in its romance, there is a sense of melancholic limerance. It allows a soundscape similar to Burzum’s ambient but with a deep electric guitar. Ugh it hurts so well. posion_princess

I never been much into folk music but after I've listened to this album I'll give folk more of a listen if not become a fan of it. I like the feel of this album. It's dreamy and sureal. When Winter Breaks sounds a bit like Joy Division. This album also reminds me of Alan Parsons in the vocal department. vjcrazy
